Overfund the Arts. Empower the Next Generation.

The CourAgeOUS arts-integrated confidence program is launching in Philadelphia in 2026 — helping students develop creativity, emotional intelligence, leadership, and real-world skills in just six weeks.

This is more than a course.
It is a growing movement powered by schools, sponsors, and community leaders working together.

01.

Creativity

Our program nurtures creativity by giving children opportunities to express their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through artistic mediums such as music, drama, dance, visual arts, storytelling, and creative writing. Through creating, students discover new ways to communicate, solve problems, and innovate while building confidence in their unique voices. This creative growth sparks curiosity and imagination, helping children develop resilience and adaptability. A strong creative foundation becomes a lifelong asset that supports their academic success, social development, and emotional well-being.

02.

Confidence Building

Our unique approach builds self-esteem by celebrating effort, progress, and personal growth. We create a supportive environment where children feel encouraged to take risks — whether sharing ideas, performing, or completing creative projects — and each success strengthens their sense of accomplishment. By valuing encouragement over perfection, children learn that mistakes are opportunities to grow. This mindset fosters courage, resilience, and confidence they carry into academics, friendships, and everyday life.

03.

Emotional Intelligence

Arts education provides a safe space for children to identify, understand, and express their emotions. Through role-playing, music, and storytelling, students practice empathy by exploring the perspectives of others. They learn to manage frustration, channel joy, and respond thoughtfully to challenges — skills essential both in school and in life. Building emotional intelligence helps children form stronger relationships, reduce conflict, and develop compassion. These social-emotional skills become a lasting foundation for teamwork, communication, and leadership.

04.

Collaboration

Art is rarely created in isolation. Whether rehearsing for a play, painting a mural, or composing music, students learn to work as part of a team. They practice listening, respecting different ideas, and contributing their strengths toward a shared vision. Collaboration teaches the value of compromise, patience, and trust. These experiences prepare children for group projects, future workplaces, and community roles while also helping them build lasting friendships and a belief that great things happen when people unite around a common goal.

Arts are disappearing. Student engagement is dropping.

• Confidence challenges rising
• Emotional regulation gaps
• Creativity being deprioritized
• Teacher burnout increasing
• Families seeking meaningful enrichment

Our Initiatives

Our initiatives are designed to empower children, restore the importance of arts education, and provide resources to those who need them most. By blending creativity, emotional intelligence, and community connection, we help children grow into confident, compassionate leaders. Each initiative is tailored to spark curiosity, build essential life skills, and ensure that no child is left behind simply because of a lack of opportunity.

Art Workshops

Our hands-on workshops invite children to dive into the world of creativity through painting, music, dance, theater, and storytelling. These sessions are not just about creating art — they are about building confidence, developing problem-solving skills, and encouraging self-expression. Each workshop is structured to allow students to experiment, collaborate, and celebrate their unique perspectives. Through these experiences, children gain tools that enhance both their academic learning and personal growth, proving that the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education.

Community Engagement

Our community engagement programs extend learning beyond the classroom and into the neighborhoods where children live. Through collaborative projects such as murals, performances, and service-based initiatives, students connect with their peers, families, and local leaders. These projects instill values of empathy, responsibility, and teamwork, while showing children the power of contributing to something larger than themselves. By participating in these efforts, children not only strengthen their sense of belonging but also gain the confidence to take on leadership roles in shaping their communities for the better.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to restore arts in education through storytelling-based programs that build creativity, confidence, and courage. We partner with schools and communities to ensure all children access arts-integrated learning, uniting educators and supporters to create imaginative, resilient classrooms and inspire a national movement of academic and emotional empowerment.

OUR VISION

We are on a mission to overfund the arts nationwide by 2027 and expand globally by 2028. Through Hooked on the Wizard of Oz and the Hooked on Courage course, we empower children to dream boldly, think creatively, and step into their future as visionary creators and leaders.

Choose the right path to courage

Whether you're guiding one child or an entire classroom, there's a flexible option to match your goals. Invest in confidence, creativity, and resilience—on your terms.
