Launching the Philadelphia Founding Schools Initiative
In celebration of the upcoming America250 milestone, the CourAgeOUS program is launching its first pilot initiative in Philadelphia and the surrounding metropolitan region, including South Jersey.
This pilot will introduce students to a powerful arts-integrated program designed to build confidence, creativity, leadership, and character while restoring the importance of arts education in schools.
The Philadelphia Founding Schools Initiative will bring the CourAgeOUS program to the first 250 participating schools in the region. These schools will become recognized as Founding Schools in the growing Overfund the Arts movement, a national effort dedicated to restoring creativity, innovation, and leadership development through arts-based education.
Through this pilot program, students will participate in collaborative, creative experiences that help them develop the confidence and communication skills needed to thrive in school and beyond.
Founding Schools Opportunity
The first 250 schools participating in the Philadelphia pilot will receive special Founding School recognition and early access to future program expansions. Founding schools will help lead a movement focused on empowering students through creativity, collaboration, and character development.
