Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Hooked on the Wizard LLC, doing business as Hooked On Courage (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to providing high-quality arts-integrated educational curricula and resources.

Because our products include a mix of digital downloads, physical goods, and live workshops, we have specific refund and return policies for each category. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a purchase on hookedoncouragecourse.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Digital Products and Curricula

Our primary offerings—including the Kindergarten curriculum, Grade 1-8 bundles, the 3-Grade Bundle, the 10-Grade Bundle, and the Complete K-12 Bundle—are delivered as digital downloads or online access portals.

All sales of digital products are final and non-refundable.

Because digital content is instantly accessible and cannot be “returned” once downloaded or viewed, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for any digital curriculum, lesson plans, e-books, or online course access.

Exceptions:
We will only consider a refund or replacement for a digital product under the following circumstances:

•   Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the exact same digital product twice within a 24-hour period.
•   Technical Failure: The digital file is corrupted, defective, or cannot be accessed, and our technical support team is unable to resolve the issue within 5 business days of your report.

2. Physical Products (Books and Merchandise)

If you purchase physical products (such as softcover books, hardcover books, or merchandise) directly through our Site, the following return policy applies:

A. Eligibility for Returns
You may return physical products within 14 days of the delivery date for a refund or exchange, provided that:

•   The item is unused, unread, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
•   The item is in its original packaging.
•   You have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Note: Autographed or personalized books are strictly non-refundable and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged.

B. Damaged or Defective Items
If your physical product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at Shannon@HookedOnTheWizardOfOz.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you at no additional cost.

C. Return Shipping Costs
You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item (unless the item arrived damaged or defective). Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

3. In-Person Workshops and Events

For registrations to our hands-on art workshops, community engagement projects, or other live events:

• Cancellations by You: You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund if you notify us in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable, but you may transfer your ticket to another child or individual upon written approval from us. • Cancellations by Us: If we must cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrollment, weather, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a credit toward a future workshop.

4. School District and Bulk Orders

Purchases made by school districts, ministries, or organizations via bulk licensing agreements, purchase orders, or vendor contracts are subject to the specific terms negotiated in those individual contracts.

If no specific contract exists, bulk orders of digital curricula are strictly non-refundable once access has been granted or files have been delivered to the purchasing organization.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We take fraudulent chargebacks very seriously. By making a purchase, you agree that you will not issue a chargeback via your credit card provider or bank for a valid purchase.

If you have an issue with your order, you must contact us first to seek a resolution. If you initiate a chargeback for a digital product that our system shows you have accessed or downloaded, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback, terminate your account, revoke your access to all purchased materials, and ban you from future purchases.

6. How to Request a Refund or Return

To initiate a return for a physical item or request an exception for a digital product, please follow these steps:

2.  Include your Order Number, the Name under which the purchase was made, and the Email Address associated with the account.
3.  Provide a clear explanation of the issue (and attach photos if reporting a damaged physical item).

Our support team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days with instructions on how to proceed.
